Solo

Idea I had at the Con...it would be done in a 50's or 60's cowboy movie poster illustration, but with San Holo ; )...we'll see how this ends up...i think some smart color ideas will make it

Chicago Comic Con

I just spent the last weekend at the Chicago Comic Con and it was an amazing positive experience! I haven't been to the con since I was 15 and it was everything/everyone I remembered and then some. My friend and peer Caleb King- website - and I shared a table...we sold prints, made on demand sketches (one guy had me draw a hippopotamus...?), water colored for peeps and talked it up with some serious cool/fun people at the con. I would do it again in heart beat just to be a part of that wacked out amazingly positive visual extravaganza community that is Comic Con! Thanks to everyone who stopped by and bought a print or to anyone who grabbed a biz card and are checking this out now because of it...Cheers - Andy

Life Drawing

Here are some recent life drawings that I done did. The cool thing about quick figure drawings is that we (the students in the class) were given either a few seconds or just a minute or two to get the entire figure down...and your forced to draw what you think is what most interesting and important to you. Done in conte crayon and charcoal pencil on newsprint
